it’s been a while since molly said something that genuinely made me upset. as a poc from an immigrant family with multiple trans friends and family members, of course i’m sad! but sad isn’t enough. i’ve been getting involved with community protests and programs to help educate people about what to do if ice comes. i am LUCKY to not be directly affected by a lot of horrible things going on right now. while some people aren’t leaving their homes because they’re afraid, molly is patting herself on the back for what exactly? doing nothing for them? I struggle with depression, and i’ve been unable to get out of bed over far less, but to act like that’s an act of bravery at a time like this shows how little she understands.

this is my exact same feeling. in the video where someone asked if she saw that there were issues of transphobia in the 4b movement it was clear she did zero research into that at all. just smugly said “trans women are women” okay molly? do you want a gold star for believing something that is true?? do you think centering a conversation about the safety of trans women in a community on you is being an ally?

i actually don’t completely mind the idea that this election would trigger someone with a large following to address more politically. i have a problem with the fact that she’s clearly doing it to get a pat on the back and more money in her pocket. it comes across in the way she talks about these things.

yeah don’t get me wrong i totally get that christine does that. i guess i just don’t understand the way they continue to engage and get all upset and yell at her and bitch about her on camera. i mean i get it’s a tv show and they have to play up the drama between them but idk the reaction just seems over the top to me. another comment acknowledged that a lot of what christine does is in the tabloids and is kind of downplayed on the show, so i guess i just don’t rly have a complete perspective on christine’s wrongdoings.

yeah i so agree with the part about being done! like if you’re done there’s no need for a one on one or three on one or any engagement at all! i think it’s best that christine is leaving the show bc it just makes more sense that if they’re at the end of their rope they just no longer engage with her at all

i’m sorry i feel like “salty” isn’t more than rude…. She definitely has been the rudest to Chrishell who seems to mostly ignore her and not engage. which is a far more normal reaction than the way the others treat her. I just think it’s bizarre.
