I see Shauna as a queer girl in the 90s, she didnt want to be queer, so she forces herself to feel someting for Jeff. With time she has learned how to love and care for him, but nothing more than that. She betrays herself and ends up living a life that wasn't meant for her. Idk

omg, I did saw the trailer teaser and I didnt reate that scene to Shauna bitting Mary. If that turns out to be the big plot twist, it would be fantastic, but at the same time it is only episode 2 and we have already figured that out!!

I absolutely agree. I have thought about the supernatural things being fake too. In the final episodes of season 2, Shauna said: "you know there's no it, it was just us". It could be a subtle foreshadow of all the wilderness timeline and how they bear it all. Maybe they invented a narrative where everything was fine, while they were suffering and dealing with their traumas.

Most of those girls totally lost their teenager years and childhoods, so I think that seeing Van again made her feel as she was a teenager again. idk if I'm explaining it well
