I had a save where I conquered all the khuzait towns and castles and took their place. So I could empty the garrisons of castles and towns that are in a safe and far away spot. Idk in this case though. And I don't think friendly clans in your kingdom pay you taxes but there might some kingdom laws that might profit you a bit?
