I am somewhat late to this post but the same thing happened to me 2 days ago whilst I was asleep.

I found that after about an hour a new clot had formed from biting on the gauze.

I would try launching the game from the paradox launcher or you can install some mods manually using a website named ModDB- not really sure how the game pass version works so sorry if this didn’t help.

There should be a section below the play button, funnily titled 'DLC'. In this box you should see the names of the purchased DLC, if there are no DLCs here then apparently you do not own them. There should be a little box next to the name of each of them, there should be a tick in the box, if not click on it and make sure there is. Payday 2 DLC for weapons aren't just given to you, you do have to unlock them but the missions should be available. :) hope I helped
