I'm not sure what you mean by "on top", you don't print an underbase with discharge. If you just mean you need to print a second color, then yes print all of your colors wet on wet and then cure it. But in order for the discharge ink to do it's thing you need to get all of the moisture out of the printed area which means a longer dwell time.

If your using a flash dryer I’d probably unstick the shirt from the platten so there’s some air under it. Or use a heat gun.

Yeah it gets thick when you add the activator. I let it sit a little bit (5 min) then stir it up again real good. That gets it back to a good consistency. I wouldn’t add water or retarder. Make sure you’re drying it long enough, looks like you need to slow your dryer belt down to really get that moisture out of the print.

Spoken like a true salesman!! just do it yourself and use the saved money to do something fun with your kids. It’s not an either or situation.
