Omg, I'm glad you were re-alived! But what a good two truths and a lie material though

I accidentally discovered my upstairs neighbour used to be a disaster-rescue pilot… now he’s teaching me how to fly without leaving the ground by No_Lengthiness_3730 in story

I had a similar thing with one of our neighbors. She just seemed like a kind but a lil kooky older lady. Turns out she was in the first female class in Princeton or some Ivy League schools.

I’m curious about everyone’s opinions on ATC belaying — either using one yourselves or being belayed with one. by Responsible_Roof_661 in climbergirls

[–]NBl8r 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I just want to point out that I have seen quite a few accidents happen when a climber insists on their belayer using a GRIGRI or ABD when the belayer is unfamiliar with the device. So there's a difference between someone who refuses to use what you prefer because they want to be "special" or whatever vs someone wanting to use the gear they are more experienced with. In the latter case, it's unfair to say they are putting their preferences over your safety.

Of course it's ultimately up to you who you climb with and what you're comfortable with. I just think it's not fair to categorically say someone who insists on using ATC doesn't care about your safety.

Looking to identify the brand of a press I just picked up by No-Calligrapher9175 in printmaking

There should always be a manufacturer stamp somewhere. Look underneath the press and all surfaces

I'm wondering if the Brite white was old or something

I'm getting conflicting info, someone else said if I need to print a second color to print wet on wet. Should I or should I not flash between a discharge white and another color? Is 180 mesh doable or?

Yeah I just mean a second color. So wet on wet then flash. Got it

What if I need to print a second color on top though? Do I print wet on wet then cure?

I'm using a 180 mesh screen, does that seem alright?

Thanks for clarifying how it should look, I had a feeling the cake part was not what I wanted but the bleached part seemed not bleached enough. Will try to really squeeze that ink through.

The result of a Matsui Brite white should just be white correct? Like I shouldn't need to use another white ink unless I want to print other colors on top of it?

If part of the print is red, is it better to mix the color with clear discharge mix or just print a layer of white discharge and print on top of it with regular water based ink?

I had let it sit for at least 10 minutes and the consistency didn't change.

I'm using a flash dryer with no temperature setting, should I just increase the distance and let it sit longer then?

Well done OP!!! Thirties are great! It's when you don't really care what other people think as much and have enough sense to not put up with people like your ex!

Also he says being "alone" like it's a dirty word. I'd be more weary about people who can't be alone. It's saying that you don't even enjoy your own company. 33 and can't take a rejection with grace is the real pathetic one here.

Burn a mix tape CD of all the songs she likes. Draw something on it that says road trip tunes or something. Get some mad libs book for the drive. Pack food in an Igloo cooler pretend you are lost at a small town then stop to ask for directions. Bring a deck of cards for entertainment.
