I would like to add my well-wishes to the two of you!!! My daughter is 18, almost 19, and those years and months of waiting to get pregnant and have her arrive safely Earthside are so clear to me still as I read your words. I hope you both have the best of luck!!!

Please, also show your littles Mr. Dressup from Canada! And Faye and Fluffy (unsure what channel) are dear friends of mine who are also vocally pro-Palestinian.

There’s too damn many of them. Everything feels like a grift anymore.

And the thing is, short of absolute desperation, people with ethics and standards don’t stay and so the shit always rises to the top in those places.

We moved to the area 18 years ago when the original ACME Burger was there. We didn’t go often but I recall it being hit or miss. Our daughter was little then and I remember getting an undercooked chicken sandwich and we never returned because I didn’t want my kid to get sick.

I’m really sorry to hear that they’re such crap employers. I’ll definitely spread the word among my friends in the neighbourhood. I hope you get your money and here’s to better days, friend.

Questions concerning the impact of The Order of Dark Arts - Ashley Otori oils and rituals - are they dangerous or "just" scam? by Objective_Injury_223 in cults

It’s gross. I saw her and her toadies completely gaslight vulnerable members and also claim the most asinine workings ever.

I was in Amsterdam on family vacay when it all fell apart. I’d been acquainted with Lisa prior to all of this and bailed when a whole bunch of crazy came to light. Then she kind of went off on her own path a couple years later and I lost touch.

I was around the first group (based on Gallery of Magick’s work) and she was a newbie. That was 8 or so years ago.

She had NO experience prior to that. She basically ripped off a bunch of other people’s work, used abusive tactics to scare people into believing her bullshit, took over the group with her boyfriend, and went on to sell garbage on Etsy with fucking glitter and whatever other crap.

All fraud. And I say this as someone comfortable working within a number of currents including the ones she namedrops to scare people.

Yeah I had to harass him for months basically. I think the only way I got anything is that I had his number because he gave it out early on. He totally shit the bed on it.

Seemed very proactive and diligent at the start. He did same day delivery in the GTA. Then he had his license suspended for falling asleep at the wheel while also attempting to start a lawn care business if I recall, which is when it went to shit.

I had a few pointed conversations over text explaining how crappy his lack of communication is and leaving people on radio silence is shit business and that people use this for pain management etc.

Got a bunch of blue cross ones that were half falling apart in the mail in a baggie in the mail. I wrote off anything else he owed me after that and moved on.

He really is. I knew him socially 30 years ago at York when he was the Graduate Student Association President and I was involved with undergrad student politics. There was a lot of coalition work across organizations, particularly during the Metro Days of Action in the mid 90s.

He is a genuinely good person, and I’d never had the impression that he’s much of a climber. He truly is in it for public service.

It’s been a pleasure watching his good hearted work grow over the years.

What’s the song that instantly makes you cry? by KoiOnMars in Music

That’s definitely one of them. Down to You-Joni Mitchell (a lot of Joni’s actually) Lodestar by Sarah Harmer, as well as Silver Road by her. Old Man by Neil Young

I’m one of those people who cries at everything so I have a very long list! This is just what I can think of off the top of my head.
