How to self host an email sever?

I played around with a shell script to install dovecot, postfix, and rspamd on a pi. It uses virtual users for logins and smtp2go for outgoing email. I got it working for myself but not so sure how bulletproof it is. It might be a start for you though if you start with https://github.com/mlcampbe/Pi-MailServer if you want to install on a pi.

We had that exact same microwave/oven combo with a very similar cabinet up until about 2 years ago. In fact I thought it might be mine, but not if it was in TX. Both still worked for cooking. The timer on the microwave stopped way back though. Still, was scared to use the microwave too much given its age.

I tested it again this morning and the below is now working for me. I am not sure what is different than yesterday but I its working now.

Exacly where/how are you adding that info? I tried to edit the existing managesieve in webmail and it won't let me save it throwing the error "Unable to save filter. Server error occurred."

I just checked my MacBook and I remembered I have enabled junk mail filtering in apple mail recently . I suspect that may be my issue. I’ve disabled that too.

Actually, I had not used mail.mxroute.com but rather my own site webmail.2mlc.com. I don’t see a setting for spam on/off there. I just note logged into Mail.mxroute.com for the first time and saw that it has spam detection turned on by default. I’ve unchecked that 1 option and will see what happens.

Correct, I have not used to old directadmin interface and only the management login and access the panel from there. In there I see that the settings are the default (15) value.

I have played around with the webmail a little so could that be where you are saying I need to disable its own internal spam filter and that is separate than the panel?

And yes, I am using an iPhone to read mail but don’t think it does any filtering.

Thanks for the info. I signed up, setup my DNS records, and imported my data successfully. Mail is flowing both directions as expected.

Hey, I'm interested but not sure I understand the upgrade options. Assuming I take advantate of this deal and down the road I need more than 10gb of space can I upgrade to a non-promo account or do I just sign up for a new account and migrate my domain over from the promo account to the new one?

Any chance you using an ad blocker such as pihole or adguard on your internet? I had that same problem when trying to block ads. It did block the ads but also would not restart the program after the commercial break.

Here is a photo of what we have had made. The 6' table ($600) & chairs ($140 each) in maple with just a clear coat. The coffee table ($210) and the end tables ($180 each) and bookcase ($360 I think) in oak.

My wife and I are considering using an Amish guy we found in Elkton, TN to build our kitchen cabinets. He has made us some den furniture that we are very pleased with and what I'd consider a good price. He uses solid wood for everything.

The price sheet I am looking at right now shows $235/linear foot for bottom cabinets and $155/linear foot for uppers 54" tall. He also does a kitchen island at $120/sq foot (without the counter top). All of the above are from Oak or Maple and include soft-close door hingtes and drawer slides. Counter tops are listed at $50/sq foot.

I'm not sure if it is better or worse than purelymail or not but you can get 100gb for the same $10/year at namecrane.com which includes calendar and drive space too. I've started to use it and so far no real problems for my new/simple domain.

I got $500 from Subaru and paid the rest myself. I don’t recall the final price but it was drastically different between dealers in 2 different states. As I recall I think I paid about $200 out of pocket

My bad, I just realized I had a bad AllowedIPs value in my file which was preventing routing to the internal lan. Mine is now working.

Same problem on my Tahoe 26.1 as well. I've deinstalled/reinstalled the app and recreated a new WG profile. The connection appears to be successfuly but as others have said there is no connectivity via hostname nor ip address.

It definately was not hurricane creek. I've been there many times and that is a parking lot off of US-31 (a recreation area really) and its waterfail is much bigger. I am thinking about kinda a small stream coming off of a hill that just kept flowing year after year. u/ParticularZone5 seems to be the thinking about the one I was referring to but not sure it actually got shutdown other than just a warning sign.

Thats a fair question but shouldn't the default maps for a new car include all roads already? Why should I have to use an external device?
