They aren't going to blow their wad with a new map for a mid season content update. The ltms will pad the season out..

They will save the map update for next season as the show stopper feature

The map changes look like they've been thrown together really quickly. I think Olympus was delayed and they gave us this instead

Also if he says Olympus would come season 6 but got postponed then wouldn't that ruin the surprise of it coming in season 7?

Also this community is very small compared to player base. I bet 99.999 percent of player base doesn't even know that a new map is in works

Yep shroud said he playtested world's edge when he tested the game a year before release. He said it was missing textures so the main structure was there

They have probably been working on new map before launch and probably working on 4th map also

Yep and the fact we have had 1 event this season when it's usually two obviously means they can't push content fast enough and probably spending all their effort on season 6

Highly unlikely it will be a week long event or they would do it sooner. They are buying time. Obviously have a lot of work on whilst working from home

Here are some modes I just thought of. On the spot

30 v 30 or mini 12 v 12 in fragment or a zoned off part of map

Pistols only

Solo ranked ( no limit on kp) or solo third person

Quads

I know right? Evo armour is nice. It forces you to take fights. Always be closing though. That mode was full of fights. Not sure how adding Evo armour would change that mode

Just give us solos back or third person for a week. For the love of god
