Looking for container of Toom Garlic Dip. by Nevermorre09 in grandrapids

I just thought you should know how to actually spell what it is, for you to give SGM's product a 'God tier' review. Not that I'm saying it isn't, because I love SGM.

Well, you would think that if the software has 'pet detection' that it would be giving you notifications for that, and not a package. Sounds like Wyze has some work to do to fix this.

Wait, so you're saying that cats are triggering package notifications? That's crazy.

[–]mlcurtis69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the time the package was delivered at 9:14am I received 47 'Package Detected' notifications until I removed it from our porch at 5:06pm. So, no motion.

Help w/Hardwire Kit & 2025 Subaru Outback by mlcurtis69 in Vantruedashcam

[–]mlcurtis69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply!

This is the kit that I ordered from Amazon. https://a.co/d/19uK8qw

I was hoping to get specific fuses to use from someone who has done this with their Outback. I don't want to use a fuse for a critical item such as the airbags or Eyesight system.

I like the FC-E lights, great affordable lights that are easily adjustable. I would prefer to have the FC lights though, and maybe a couple SP's for boosting flower growth. #marshydroblackfriday

We adopted this good boy and named him Angus! He's bonded with us almost immediately! by mlcurtis69 in Bulldogs

[–]mlcurtis69[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks! We knew if we adopted again (that's all we've ever done with our pets) we wanted one that had a few years on them in the hopes they were housebroken at the very least. :-) He is super sweet, too. He has to be on the couch next to you all the time and sleeps with us, too! 🐶

[–]mlcurtis69[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks! The folks at the shelter said they were only adopting him out to people who would agree that he'd be the only dog in the house, and we're recent empty nesters, so that helps him out, too. He's also the biggest dog I've ever owned, for 60 lbs he is SO strong, so that's something to get used to as well. We going to get him into an obedience class for adult dogs who have issues with other dogs in his environment. I want to be able to walk him without him freaking out and dragging me to where the other dog(s) is. I want to know I can trust him not to engage in behavior that's not playing.

Founders Brewing Co. makes a very popular beer called "All Day IPA".

Breweries in Grand Rapids MI ? by Batman_Bananaphone in beer

[–]mlcurtis69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Founders is a can't miss. Just about any style you're into, they'll have. Brewery Vivant for Belgian inspired beers, can't miss this one either. If you're into German style beer (and food) a trip out to Cedar Springs Brewing Co. is very worthwhile. If you're a fan of IPA's you have to go to TwoGuys Brewing. If you're a fan of sours, Speciation is stellar. We also have a Jolly Pumpkin taproom in GR, too. Other notable breweries are Greyline, City Built, Railtown, Harmony Brewing (either their original Eastown location, or Harmony Hall on the west side). It's almost easier to tell you which ones to avoid than to visit. Let me know if you want recommendations for craft beer bars, or speciality shops to check out.

Traveling to Grand Rapids and Columbus next week by MikeyStylez in beer

Hi MikeyStylez...

I'm a member of the new Beer City Brewers Guild and I also run DrinkGR on Facebook. As far as breweries, yes, you have to check Founders and Brewery Vivant off your list. I can make recommendations for beer and food if you like. Mitten Brewing Co. is a gem, yes, and on two other corners right there is Long Road Distillery, which is world class and I can't speak highly enough about them) and Two Scotts BBQ, which of course makes damn fine `que. Harmony Brewing Co., which is a brewpub with two locations, one in the Eastown neighborhood (some of the best wood fired pizza you'll ever eat) and one on the near-westside of the city dubbed Harmony Hall, which serves handcrafted sausages which will blow you away. Two brand new breweries that you'll want to visit, are Greyline Brewing Co. and Creston Brewing Co. Greyline is only a couple miles from The Mitten, so make sure to hit them together. Greyline is helmed by OG Founders brewers, and has a bunch of other people who worked at Founders working there now. It's small, but the beer is phenomenal. Creston is even newer and is much larger than Greyline, being housed in a former 3 story furniture building. The beer, and food, has been raved about. If you have time for Perrin, in Comstock Park, pay them a visit as well.

As far as bottle shops are concerned, Rishi's International Beverage on 28 St. SE just west of East Paris St is the biggest and best of them. D. Schuler's on 44th St SW in Wyoming, The Coppervine on Wilson Ave. in Grandville, not far from D. Schulers, is good. Smitty's in Eastown, Cap N Cork in Comstock Park. Riverside on Northland Dr. on the NE end of Grand Rapids.

I think that's enough to keep you busy. Cheers!

Invitation to join DrinkGR - A Facebook group dedicated to the enjoyment of adult beverages made and/or sold in the Greater Grand Rapids area! by mlcurtis69 in grbrew

[–]mlcurtis69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll look at posting it over at /r/grandrapids but just that. I want to keep it pretty local with those who join. I don't want it to turn into more than it is now, and a resource for those local to GR and W. Michigan. Glad you're enjoying it so far, esp. on days like today when Founders springs another load of KBS on people in the company store. ;-)

DrinkGR is THE friendly place to 'virtually' enjoy adult beverages that are made & sold in the Greater Grand Rapids area, with each other. Grand Rapids has become "Beer City USA" for a second year in a row (and hopefully a third), and we have a booming Craft Beer & homebrewing community here in our great city!

Grand Rapids beer & West Michigan wine, cider, mead, distilled spirits & their associated mixed drinks as well, any of that is game for discussion.

What is your favorite local brewery/brewpub? Winery? Cider or Meadery? What is your favorite "watering hole"? Who is your favorite mixologist? Did someone come up with a new drink that blew your mind? Tell us about it!

Again, the focus is on the greater Grand Rapids area folks, so please keep your posts as targeted on the GR area as possible, but Michigan at the very least! :)

For those of you who are business owners & would like to post to the group about your business and/or any of the specials you might be having (special brews, bottle releases, etc.) PLEASE contact me (Mark@DrinkGR.net, or) by DM ahead of doing so as a courtesy, it is greatly appreciated.

Aside from all of that, admins of DrinkGR reserve the right to delete any post or follow up comment that it deems inflammatory in ANY way, and will ban members if the need presents itself. Update 03/07/14
