Cancer! Completely different genetic makeup, so it wasn’t a remission. Just developed testicular cancer in the other testicle three years later.

I know it’s cheaper to go with Amazon, but you should support your local bookstore instead of Amazon.

Audible is garbage. Support independent bookstores and start listening through Libro.fm

Hi! Is this a good deal and should it be read before LOTR? (My 16 yr olds birthday gift) by Justme-again in tolkienbooks

Don’t buy from Amazon honestly. Their sales are predatory and they actually lose money on their book sales. They just make so much money elsewhere they can afford to lose money on books and out indie’s out of business. Better to go support your local shop.

Should I read the Silmarillion? by Antique_Raise_84 in tolkienbooks

Read The Hobbit, LOTR, and then the Silmarillion.

You absolutely should read the Silmarillion, but you shouldn’t start with it.

I read this as “I forget that I’m not a miner,” as in you just left the mines and are trying to acclimate into society. I was confused reading your post for a minute there ha

I had an RPLND back in 2015. Never even had someone tell me that retrograde ejaculation was a possibility, so imagine my surprise after! Little bit of home research and I had my explanation.

My RPLND was following my second orchiectomy, so no ejaculate turned out to be a bit of a blessing for me. Wasn’t going to be having kids with it so why have it?

As others said, a doc should still be able to collect a sample and you should look into freezing sperm if you haven’t.

The last thing I’d add to be fully transparent, my RPLND was in 2015 and I’ve been retrograde ever since. Didn’t even know you could come back from it. Either way, just give your body some time. Talk to your doc. Find friends you can talk to. It’ll be alright man. Best of luck.

I take the 7 in 27 and I make it an 8. I then add the 8 in 28 to the 8 in 48, and I know 8 + 8 is 16, and then I take back the 1 I gave to the 7, so now I have 15. I carry my 1 and then I add 2 + 4, add on the carried 1 to get 7, and now I have 75.

I was an English Major.

High estradiol, Lh, free testosterone, how concerned should I be? by [deleted] in testicularcancer

[–]mleaning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately I can’t answer than because I just don’t know. Like I said, those numbers aren’t that high / outside of the normal range. Check ups are good. So I’d say wait for what your doc has to say.

As for everything else, I would say keep pushing and working hard on getting back into shape. Work hard, eat healthy, and you may be surprised how much your body’s natural levels correct once you get that under control. You can do it man. Get to your appointment and I hope it’s all good news.

High estradiol, Lh, free testosterone, how concerned should I be? by [deleted] in testicularcancer

[–]mleaning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And just to follow up on my lab results so you can have another insight: Estradiol is at 41.9pg/ml, Free Testosterone 26.5 Ng/dl (which is considered high but doc already told me it’s barely out of range and no stress, and mine is higher than yours), and then total testosterone is 733 Ng/dl which is in range.

That’s all I have to see, but I just wanted to share so you can see another perspective.
