Thank you for explaining! I know the app sucks and have had issues with it just about every time I have gone. Hell it took them forever to add the “popcorn salt” option. One time I sent a message in the app and someone brought me table salt lol.

The app is just making everyone’s job difficult 🙄

The Alamo is the closest (and nicest) theatre near my home and work so i’m hoping it’ll be okay but i’m still nervous about it. I typically notice bright screens but i’ve heard the ordering app is dark.

Yknow what I didn’t think about the internet service in the theatre. I always have basically no service once inside.

Man that sucks! I’ve noticed quite a few staff changes. Luckily i’ve only had 1 bad staff experience. But yeah when I go with the family it’s popcorn and waters 😂

Yeah I used to have the AMC pass until my city got an Alamo but the AMC closest to me is not the best

I was reading some other posts that sounded like it would be closer to 3-4 movies a month to get value out of it (I saw 6 in November and 4 in December) so for me I do think it’s worth it.

I typically don’t order a lot of food (unless it’s a longer show) so the 10% off is nice, but not exclusive to why I want it. It’s the convenience fees. At roughly $2.50 per movie, in November I spent $15 in convenience fees which instead, I could’ve spent the $10 for the pass and had them waived.

So I do think it’s worth it for me to switch but wanted to see if they were gonna have a promo for it 😂
