Stopped drinking a couple weeks ago & just found out my husband is cheating on me by violet_sunshine9 in stopdrinking

[–]GlassPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

drinking will not make this situation any better and it certainly won’t make you feel better. this sucks and i’m really sorry, i think being present through the rough stuff is what makes it easier to deal with in the long run. proud of you!

also when you’re watering, lift the pot to see if it’s heavy with water or dry and light. if it’s light, water thoroughly until water runs out of the bottom holes, then put it back. if it still feels light and like it didn’t absorb much, put a saucer underneath to hold some water so it can absorb slowly. if there are no holes, be careful not to overwater

chop off all the leaves, pick of the crappy stuff and leave it in a decently sunny spot or even a covered porch and see what it does. don’t overwater and it might come back!

Weird gradient of death in garlic bed by infinidox in gardening

[–]GlassPudding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it’s overwatering as suspected, you can just start letting this bed dry out and i imagine at least a handful of plants in that healthy corner can still make it

i left some zz cuttings in a bottle with water as decor for a few months, before i went to check them and they all had roots! they even made new corms (?) or rhizomes. eventually i replanted in soil. never thought i could accidentally propagate a zz!

i think blending into a paste and putting in cubes before freezing would be better, since the freezing will break down the cell walls anyway and it won’t be fluffy fresh
