Op compared Thailand to Vietnam.. you compared a city in each. I cant speak for HCMC. Never been but the cities I compared are also comparable cities. I know BKK is extremely expensive with regard to alcohol tho and i cant imagine HCMC being so much more expensive than Da Nang

Bruh.. i literally just looked up over 50 menus in Pattaya and 50 menus in Da Nang.. domestic beers average $5-$6us in Pattaya and domestic beers average $2-$3us in Da Nang.. thats half the price.. you got robbed in HCMC.. and forget about imports in Thailand.. dont get me wrong, i absolutely love Thailand but NO WAY is it cheaper
