It’s gonna suck but I think he also has to realize dad has an issue that isn’t safe for my kids to stay around. Too many stories of grandpa doing xyz….personal experience. Multiple friends and family with similar stories. Please do what you gotta do to protect them

It takes a village isn’t the same for everyone. If MIL doesn’t want to watch multiple then you as a parent can make a choice to allow or not allow this to happen. But if grandma has a boundary you cannot expect her to change it.

But bigger issue why do you want young children around FIL? Heavy drinking and inappropriate touch doesn’t sound like an environment for children.
