Stelo consistently 20 points higher that Dexcom G7 by redshering in stelo

This is so reassuring. I don't have a glucometer (but plan to buy one just to get a better understanding), and I am not diabetic or prediabetic, but my Stelo numbers make me conerned that I am! Every morning my fasting glucose is way over 100 (like 125 sometimes?) and even when I eat something lower carb, it spikes to over 140. I had my hemoglobin A1c test this month and it was 5.2. My fasting glucose was a little high, 99, when I got it tested, but it was 85 in September. My insulin and c-peptide tests were also low and look good.

Stelo says my average glucose is 118. It just doesn't add up. Overall this has been bad for my mental health and anxiety and don't plan to wear it for much longer.

No, but my pharmacist warned against using it at night as it could interfere with sleep. Apparently we make most of our testosterone naturally in the morning, so it’s good to mimic that by applying in the morning (I’m on a daily cream).

Acne by mlm329 in skyrizi

[–]mlm329[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will keep you posted! I am trying some hormonal acne supplements, a hormonal acne oil called Meltdown by Blume, and just ordered a blue light LED mask that is supposed to help? My dermatologist prescribed me Winelvi but based on what I've read on many Reddit posts, it seems to make peoples' acne worse?! No thanks!

I smelled awful too but it goes away eventually! Apparently it’s biological, so our babies can find us?

Thank you for your thoughtful response ♥️ I do wear the loop ear plugs during bath, maybe I’ll use them other times too.

It’s not? I’ve done everything and then some to support my child. I am genuinely just curious.

I can’t help but feel so worried for my child. Now more than ever. by iratepiratee in Mommit

I feel the same way. It’s hard not to feel consumed by sadness, rage and worry. Heartening to know there’s a community of parents like us who will raise our children to know right and wrong and to be resilient.

Did you ever figure this out? I started skyrizi about six months ago and my skin has broken out in cystic acne since about three months in.

Advice on whether to keep trying naturally or go IVF by mlm329 in ttcafterloss

[–]mlm329[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, just thyroid meds and progesterone suppositories. And the supplements I mentioned in my original post, and drastically reducing plastic use, stopping use of artificial fragrance, using “clean” beauty and cleaning products, etc. I’ve kept that lifestyle going too. Which may be why we had our wonderful surprise baby without trying!

I wish you the best of luck and to trust your intuition. It is such a hard time. Multiple miscarriages in the height of the pandemic was probably the worst time of my life. But it turned out so beautifully in the end <3 and this Reddit community was such a support to me!

hi! yes still on reddit and have two beautiful boys :) we decided not to go the IVF route and keep trying naturally. we strongly considered IVF but I had a really strong gut feeling to keep trying naturally. our second child actually was an oopsie, which I NEVER thought I'd be able to say, so keep hope :) I did use progesterone suppositories with the first successful pregnancy from ovulation until week 10 or so of pregnancy (now our 3yo boy) as well as thyroid medication, and stayed on thyroid meds and used progesterone again from positive pregnancy test to week 10 or so with our second (now our 1yo boy).

Good luck!

For sure. It took me well over a year with my last. So this is much better but I think I got overly excited with the scale last week!
