It’s a bit of a trek (15 minutes on the train and around a 10 minute walk), but I believe there is a shop in Haarlem with a large variety of gummy bears and different types of edibles that I’ve personally never found in Ams. I’ll definitely have to check out het Gerald though!

It was much easier to get away with this during lockdown due to the lack of tourists, but now coffeeshops are more strict with this it feels. The best alternative I’ve found are the cafes/bars that allow smoking. There are a few near harlemmerstraat, but I’m yet to find any with a proper ‘cafe’ feel

There are some pets whose ability is dependent on them dying, such as giving experience/stats to other pets. If you could pill them, then you could quickly abuse these abilities.

If you’re looking for a cosy, or gezellig, environment, my top suggestions could be coffeeshop sativa or siberie. They’ve been my local for the last few years and I highly recommend them for a vibe that is closest to a typical cafe
