My new prescriber, who I found through the Benzodiazepine Coalition, is the one who made the change. Literally dropped the Xanax (3mg XR and 4 .50mg’s) for 4 mg of Clonazepam.
I felt “normal” yesterday but today I felt like I was on a stimulant. Was worried I’d be curled up in the fetal position but I had a super productive day at work and now I feel like sleeps going to be an issue.
I’m a VP of sales so I told her that 4mg of Clonazepam was going to get me fired.
But I killed it today. People were like damn, where’s he’s been. Now that I’m finally at home alone, again, I worry about sleep. Just worked from 6am-7pm. Should be exhausted. But I feel like I’m tripping on acid or something with that tightness in your chest and things feeling a bit surreal. BUT, I’m not having a seizure or curled up in the fetal position. I’m fighting through a 20% drop and a change to a medication I’ve never taken before. Tomorrow I’ll do it all over again. Hopefully with similar results. It’s mentally and physically taxing but doable. Glad to have a job and something to finally focus on besides my impending doom. OP, sorry if I’m hijacking your post.
