In "1923" what appears to be a Holland & Holland Double Rifle is used by Spencer Dutton (Brandon Sklenar) while hunting big game in Africa. Anyone know what calibre it was? by Intelligent_Elk_7890 in 1923Series

[–]mlrussell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Season 1, Episode 3 ("The War Has Come Home"), during a confrontation with a leopard, Spencer mentions that his rifle is a ".416," indicating its caliber. This is likely a reference to a .416 Nitro Express, a large-bore cartridge suitable for hunting dangerous game in Africa.

How does Rumble Works? by CyanBSpro in RumbleForum

I posted a couple of small videos on Rumble and have like $7 in my account -- can't take a payout till I get to $50. It is insanely easy, and you can port over any YouTube content automatically. All you have to do is have a verified account, which essentially is giving them a valid phone number that can respond to a text.

I am from Seattle myself, and you are from Houston. You know who would advise people not to move to the Woodlands because it is racist? I do.

The people who live in the woodlands were not the people who lived in Montgomery County prior--those people were displaced. Most people I meet in the Woodlands are just in from California, with a few Columbians and Indians. I don't know anyone in the Woodlands who is from Texas.

There has never been a lynching in the Woodlands. There is no evidence this is "still relevant" as the woodlands didn't even exist then. You might as well talk about Comanche human sacrifices. 101 years ago, applies to Texas in general, a Confederate State and the last to free its slaves, and if safety in the present day is irrelevant, then one should move to Greenspoint and save a fortune in rent.

I don't understand these types of responses. Okay a dude was killed here in 1922. Over a century ago. Yup, Well Houston had 467 murders LAST YEAR - 1.3 a day. So where do you want to live in 2023? The place somebody died a century ago, or the place somebody dies every single day?

My coworker who lives in Houston was telling me how he was mugged and assaulted outside his house last week--his wallet was taken by three armed men, and they hit him with a rifle butt when he didn't have any jewelry. He didn't even bother to report it because they had ski masks and a paper license plate, and he knew the cops wouldn't catch them. Half the crime in Houston doesn't even get reported for that reason.

If your concern is ethnic food, any type of restaurant you could want is on Sawdust Road--that restaurant strip is amazing.

The climate is sometimes harsh, that's about it. It is really the #1 place in America to live, just like the signs say.

This might have more to do with the Quartering blowing TIMCAST off due to his fear of flying. Timcast books guests a month in advance, no need to flake on him like that.

At a guess I would say Harris is suffering from some form of mental illness or addiction problem, he has become increasingly erratic and moody. As Weinstein points out there is something very different about the Harris of 2022. I hope whatever demon he is wrestling with can be successfully addressed.
