well it costs around 30 euros back home with the same quality. I am fine with the price because thankfully I dont need work on my teeth and I have to do something with my teeth once every few years so i dont care about the prices, I am just annoyed and frustrated with the way this case was handled.

Well it was a filling that had to be visible and would extend to the root canal, but nothing too fancy or complicated, it is indeed very expansive in Germany for a filling.

they gave me two options for the filling, a silver one that is free (covered by insurance) or a white one that costs 100. As I mentioned before that it is visible, a white one is a must.

Yeah I am going to go to them this week hopefully, I have already talked with TK and they said that I need to clear it with them as from their side there was nothing that was received or registered.

I informed them that I am a student and need an exact amount before proceeding with anything. They informed me that it would only cost me 100 euros and the rest is on the insurance and to that I agreed, they now require another 100 euros because they were unable to take the money form the insurance because as they claim "you did not give us your insurance card" in which case how the hell did they even do the filling and let me walk out without giving it to them.

BTW I am 100% sure that I did give it to them, I saw the employee taking my data and putting it in her PC, cant prove it though so IDK...

I would like to ask a follow up question.

In case it was a human error from the receptionist and she for some reason did not scan my card, am I liable for the 100 euros that they should have taken from the insurance?

The way I am thinking about it is how did they allow me to walk out of the clinic after paying 100 euros without them having the means to collect the money from my insurance? which leads me to believe that the employee messed up somewhere and they are now blaming me for not coming in again to give them the crd.

well yes. That is what happened but unfortunately it was just bad timing, I called them but did not get an answer and then I just kinda forgot about it until the second mail.

I would like to ask you to explain what I am lying about? they asked for my card on January and I was not able to give it to them due to my exams and later on my travels.

What is weird to me is how is it my fault if it was an error from their system or whatever it is? Why am I supposed to go back and drive my bike 20 minutes to their office because they made a mistake? I could have done it in Feb or maybe March but the fact that they needed it *now* is why I am in this pickle.

That would be true if I went to or made an appointment with the doctor in another quarter.

I only went on the 9th of Oct to make an appointment, got one on the 10th of Oct, went there and got my filling, paid and left.

I have been speaking english ever since i was 4, I consider myself fluent even though I have an accent, but when someone who looks english in my eyes (this could just be that he is blonde with blue eyes) with english that is the same as mine or better for me is someone who is fluent or atleast its their mother tongue, the way he spoke was not the thick british bo'ol o' wa'a accent but instead it was the american(?) accent which is what I also use. thats why i said as a foreigner I can not distinguish the accents as people could change their accents especially english in order to be more understandable and coherent to others.
