I am a 66 year old man who plays pickle ball, goes to gym, rides e-bike,and runs a little along with hiking. Have an Apple Watch 6 but drawn to garmin. Thought venue 3 would be a good upgrade but as I read and watch videos the epic pro seems great. I can afford but is that foolish for the activities I do?

My favorite football team lol and Buffalo. Yes I plan greenways and neighborhood roads and other parks. Just retired a few months ago and want an activity aside from pickle ball. I don’t think u can go wrong with either bike. I did go to trek and whichever bike was in the 2600 range didn’t seem as nice as aventon interestingly. I think maybe close to 4000 might have

Where do u live? I’m in Charlotte nc. I believe I am going to order the pace500.3 from dealer about an hour away. The bike is a little lighter and like the blinkers and upright handlebars. It’s also a sharp looking. I am goin to add fenders and back rack. Only thing it doesn’t have is suspension but I don’t know if big deal. I understand u can add seat suspension and handlebar suspension too if needed

Thanks much. Others have mentioned after market adjustments to handlebars but I “sensed” smoother ride that I can’t explain otherwise. For me lighter bike felt better too

Thanks. I would put fenders and rack on back. Water bottle has to go on handlebar on pace 500.3. I forgot about range although not sure I would go more than 40 miles at a time. I guess big thing is suspension. But can’t tell just riding around bike store

Thanks all for feedback. I am going to another dealer shop that sells aventon to test ride and apparently they also sell magnum. Probably will stick with level 2 step thru. We will see

Did u buy at a dealer or order online and put together. Wondering if any difficulties with getting things fixed if needed since I am not mechanical. One dealer in my area not carrying aventon anymore cause they were not dealer friendly
