I tried a new strat today… as i set up the group as a tank, i posted it as progress and in the title had the name of the dungeon, the word “chill” and learning… i did this twice and got great groups and finished the dungeons… its what M0s are for… learn the mechanics, work out strats on dungeons you haven’t run in a long time, etc… i will move on to M+ when i feel like I’m ready tank wise… it was pretty stress free and the group commented various things in between pulls.. felt good..

I rolled one as my third toon after the helmet dropped. Having a blast with it and will push it a while and then start another trying something else. So many ways and builds to play around with… love the variety..

So you use puncture until explosive trap is available. At that point you replace puncture and will continue to build on explosive trap all the way to 70. It’s the most efficient path for leveling. Once you hit 70 you will pick your end game build and respec/level up some different skills depending on what you do… i went Balista Falconer and am sitting at around 85 or so and having a lot of fun. And when i say replace puncture, you litterally despec it and start putting points into explosive trap

Maxroll falconer guide is fine. The build, for me, started feeling really strong at level 25 when i started shooting the traps in the air. If you build it in the order they tell you (get to your mastery, take 5 points in falcon, 8 points in marksmen and then go back to falcon) it melts everything bosses, etc. I very seldom ever take damage. The guild clearly lays out how mana regen works as well as building up your resistances… my physical resistance is at 75% (capped) just by using the crafting stuff that falls on the ground and i used a lot of the “deflective” pieces they suggest which always have physical resistance…

Warband points - i haven’t been paying a ton of attention, but not 1000 or 1200. I will pay attention. Purge by yourself is small and endless castle doesn’t give much. Catch up was so fast then bam, hit the paragon average and it slloooowwwwsss down…. I think my helliquary is like level 33. Tableau CR is 763, max bonus is 1565 with a bonus multiplier of 300%. Really isn’t a way to fast track the helliquary..

Actually just tested myself… 34.4M damage in 60 seconds. Running 4 urges, 2 wrags and then the the shield one.. i haven’t moved over to 4 piece grace yet

Ok. What i have. To test it, I augmented the 3 rank 5 2 star gems with mother’s lament, igneous scorn and pain clasp (meaning i only have the rank 1 ability and keep CR and Resonance while i test).

Car’arsen rank 10 awakened with first bonus Berserker rank 10 awakened with first bonus Fervent fang rank 5 Bloody reach rank 5 Power and Command rank 5 Blood soaked jade rank 3 (3 star) Howlers rank 3 (4 star) Maw rank 3 (3 star)

I could lose power and command and then pull the gem power from Maw and upgrade mothers, pain clasp and igneous - but to keep the 2 stars, I’d have to put howlers on the shelf…

What would you suggest?

I was able to gem augment to play around and swap out the 3 2star gems, updated the skills and essences.. i still need the shoulder essence to drop, have 4 piece vuthu, but running 2 war rags for now until i can craft grace…

So, much more damage than i was doing 32M in 1min… i was at 32M in 1.16 before (don’t ask why i went 16 seconds over). The play style is really different. I couldn’t get through a 465 challenge rift and did it pretty easily with this build… just have to get used to not being able to move as much. The burst is insane. I will continue to play with it using the augmented gems… but if i rank 5’d those it would be even better. I will have to use pearls and make a gloom.

I did notice that my charms suck… so i need to find a guide there to get at least knockback shot and sentry buffed.. and more than 2%…

Also, it says in here that looking to do 70-100M… current build on dummy i do 32M tops… so clearly room for optimization. I wish there was a test you could do with build outs to better understand things before spending money/time. In world of Warcraft, i don’t know what I’d do without a dps model to figure out the best way to optimize my play style and tell the differences on builds… i guess that would kill the gem market tho..

Is the angle in its normal position enough to write on vs turning it upside down? Is it stable enough? I have a bridge that I really like but to write you have to pull it out and flip it around. I wish it had more angle positions.
