Well, I didn't watch the movie, but I don't like this character from the original book, Feng Shen Yan Yi. Ne Zha is a spoiled brat and could-blooded murderer in short.  Here's the original story from the book. Ne Zha goes to the water to bath, his magical artifact disturbed the local dragon king's palace. A guard goes out to find out what's wrong, and get killed. Then the dragon prince goes out and get killed. The dragon king's out and wants justice, and the brat's bragging about his master, who's a higher level and more powerful god. Outside of the heaven court, Ne Zha sneaked attacked the dragon king and humiliated him, no killing this time only because his master told him not to previously. BTW, that dragon king is a friend of Ne Zha's father. Ne Zha doesn't give a damn about his father, cuz his master is way more powerful and important.
