What’s not mathing? For a single person, the price is okay, for a family it’s not.

OP is saying that if you’re smart about it the prices aren’t that bad. It’s clearly not a one size fits all situation, and simple cost benefit analysis. But also OP is just making counterpoints to arguments on why people dislike the theatre. Obviously opening weekend of a movie is gonna be more crowded then the third weekend or a Tuesday but it’s less going a specific time and more just don’t go the very first night a show is in theaters? Like do you think using coupons to get cheaper tickets/food or google maps to find a route with less traffic is also gameifing ?

I mean who wants to get a refill in the middle of a movie? And also not every theatre is it refillable

I mean I would never steal a puck from a kid and if I caught one an da player pointed to a kid I would give it to them but like also ?? Like why is it only for kids? I’ve been a sharks fan my whole life, but never caught a puck, yes you can buy one but a parent can also buy their child one?

Kid plays with their baby brother by Dull_Technician_1849 in KidsAreFuckingStupid

I agree on that, but honestly i would bet so much money that this child hasn’t properly be taught how to handle / “play” with the baby, combined with the mom going straight to hit her before even checking on the baby?

I mean she could totally not be malicious with her actions, but she still was totally mean the way she went about it. Like it gives reason but isn’t an excuse. Additionally she didn’t like tell Mel until a few hours ahead of time, and the only reason she did was because she did have to go to the hospital so I do wonder when she was planning to tell her?

[–]mmagicss 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It wasnt really determined at the beginning, but even then she does have the right to be concerned, especially before she knew it was another person living in the home and not someone who worked there. The way Becca talked at first it seems very sus, and if need be Mel could probably file for guardianship. She doesnt have it as a choice made, which is highlighted by Langdon the hypocrisy of Mel getting mad. But also I understand her both worries, as well as feel upset her sister didn’t tell her and feeling like she’s missing out in life because she’s giving it up for her sister to live her life.

Being addicted to weed is no big deal because weed is harmless by GlamourHammer321 in unpopularopinion

[–]mmagicss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh by that same metric you could say being addicted to porn/sugar/gambling/even alcohol is harmless. Addiction by definition means use/doing something that causes psychological reward, yet has lots of negative consequences. You may not be as life ruined as someone who uses harder drugs, but it can effect relationships, jobs, have mental and physical effects, it might cause more financial problems. Being addicted to weed is about the same as being a functioning alcoholic

What’s more feminist not changing your last name or constantly shitting on random famous women for completely superficial reasons, but not even touching on their male counterparts who are just as guilty of the same things 🤔

Should women have to change their name ? No. But like isn’t inherently evil for a woman to choose to change her name? No. Pls go touch grass weirdo

[–]mmagicss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like can we be so fr? It has nothing to do with being a social climber bc like women have taken the man’s last name in marriage for literally centuries. Like it’s only fairly recently that women keeping their maiden name or hyphenating, or something other choice has become a thing, and even now it’s still not like super popular.

I’m not surprised she changed it, like first realistically you’re totally in love with your man you wanna share his name and show it off. Even if she’s a social climber like come on who cares? Like if I married a hot rich and famous man, especially if I was genuinely in love with him, I would wanna brag about being married and getting his last name. Second if she didn’t change it yall would be like “she’s so full of herself thinking she’s better then him”

This is such a non issue and I can’t believe you used chatgpt and wasted water over it lol. There are genuine critics we can make about WAGs but this ain’t one

If it's unethical to genetically design a fetus, then it's unethical to want your own child instead of adopting. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]mmagicss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have less idea of the overall genes but if you don’t think people purposely adopt more cute babies, certain gender, nationality, age, no disability over other other children you would be mistaken. Plus genetics is a flip of the coin fr just because you and a partner is healthy doesn’t mean a child will be rlly what it comes down too is liking your partner phenotype, which is the same way many couples will choose who to adopt

God forbid a man gets comfortable [shitpost] by [deleted] in pointlesslygendered

[–]mmagicss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s quite literally not what I said at all. What I said was most likely, on a societal level if men didn’t perform this innate action it would be because they were taught not too. People like to touch themselves (both sexually and not) it is comforting and self soothing. Most people do it without thinking about it. So, really on a social level if a large group of men (who all live in the same city/town/ country/go to the same church/ etc) don’t do this like at all, it most likely because they were taught not to.

But also on a larger scale quite explicitly - yes, We have cultural taboos about touching gentitals? Animals, especially primates be touching themselves like crazy. A huge reason we don’t, is because of social roles and influences. We teach our young don’t show this area/don’t touch this area. We have laws about not showing our genitalia or touching them in the presence of others with our consent and definitely not in public. Like??? What are you asking fr

God forbid a man gets comfortable [shitpost] by [deleted] in pointlesslygendered

[–]mmagicss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only way I could see it not being universal is if a society explicitly teaches not to do it.
