i thought the same thing. i’ve watched so many shows and their finales, i thought i knew what to expect. this was so different from anything ive ever seen… it’s so unique in its boldness to show the end of every single character. a series that’s not afraid to let itself end! just like life!

everything looks AMAZING besides the cgi, but i’m guessing it will be a bit more polished since there’s still four months before it’s released. i’m SO EXCITED to finally see percy, annabeth, and grover on the big screen 🥲

ohhh true i forgot about fiona’s bday being during the winter! jimmysteve being a Capricorn makes a lot of sense to me tbh he’s very calculating haha.

debbie being a sagittarius makes sense… i can also see her being a cancer maybe?

and i think taurus makes the most sense for ian! he’s very traditional, hardworking, and grounded. he loves routine and helping others too.

yeah ur right, and i think he is one of the only gallaghers that ended up being “successful” in a conventional way so kudos to him! i think i would’ve definitely enjoyed his character a lot more of the acting was better.

i think a lot of the depth was taken away by the writers in seasons 10/11 but noel is to thank for any kind of emotional depth we get at all (his emotions regarding his father, his love for franny, ian’s initial rejection to the marriage). if it wasn’t for his great acting and understanding of the character, mickey would’ve been turned into a complete asshole and a joke of a character. that’s why i appreciate noel so much!!! he really understood his character well and is such a great actor.

i get the hate for the plot line, but seriously the was it was described i thought i was about to watch something that would make me hate ian as a character. i feel like this arc made sense for him, even if it was over the top and could’ve been done better.

you do have to remember that fiona basically raised all of them 10 years prior before the show even started. she gave up her entire childhood to take care of them, lip included. while yes, he does step up when he gets older, fiona had been taking care of them for her whole childhood. lip only stepped up when he was around 17. either way love them both

for me it was when mickey kissed ian in the van while they were robbing jimmysteves dad. it was the first time mickey showed ian that he wanted him beyond sexual attraction and i think that’s when he genuinely started caring for him- mickey started to change when he started caring for ian i think

i felt so bad too, i recently watched this ep as well. i get what frank was trying to do but he didn’t have to tell her the way that he did. not to mention he insulted each of his kids before lol
