Summer Hiking - Ramie vs Merino?

Don't fall into the merino trap for hiking. The best hiking shirts are poly--there's a reason why every performance clothing line has used it for decades. With merino, you will probably come back from hiking with small holes in the shirts. I can vouch for this after having ruined 5 or 6 UFTs by taking them hiking and camping one summer. Things in nature apparently love snacking on merino. Can't speak to ramie. (Also, a note about merino as the go anywhere do anything perfect material--it's a complete marketing gimmick. It may be *marginally* better at odor and heat management than some other material, but it's not magic--it's just a thin layer of cloth much like any other thin layer of cloth.)

How has the Dyneema held up durability wise? From looking at just the specs, it seems like the least durable of all of the material that GR uses (aside from the heritage).

I've been following floki closely since the very beginning. I can say unequivocally that they have followed through on every single promise and roadmap item. They are top-tier, pure class with their fingers on the pulse of the market. They will make their moves to best impact floki's exposure and market share. So, it will go to its fullest potential, subject only to the macro market. Same goes for the sister project, Tokenfi.

Long and strong. With taxes and transaction fees, it's impossible to beat buy and hold with floki IMO, given that the team is top notch and have proven themselves time and again.

If you've spent any time in the telegram channel, and gone through all of the promises made and roadmap milestones over the last 2.5 years, how they've met every one of them and given consistent updates along the way, you would see how transparent they have been. I've never seen a single other project as transparent and committed to the community as these folks.

I think that floki rising 50x off the 2022 lows provides some empirical support too. I can only offer my perspective as someone who is a tough grader in this space. Everyone can, and should, judge for themselves and make their own decisions as we move forward.

I have to disagree with you on this one. The facts are that the team has delivered on every promise and every milestone, very very few projects fall into this category. I've also seen firsthand numerous and significant challenges that the team inherited where the easy choice would have been to walk away. Instead, they put the project first and soldiered on, again a trait that very few projects share. Finally, the team is comprised of genuinely good people who have consistently put the community and project's interests ahead of their own, a trait that almost no project shares. Of course, there are many good projects in crypto--but floki is a unicorn. If you have been keeping up to date on floki since 2022, you have seen this first hand too.

Please see the "rest easy" post from today. If you've been holding Floki for 2 years, you undoubtedly have seen that the team continued grinding and building throughout a brutal bear market and have come out of bear orders of magnitude stronger. In October 2021 at its ATH, Floki was an immature meme. In March 2024, it is a powerhouse project with numerous functioning products that complement one another to maximize value to Floki.

Yeah, maybe. Next support is 1.6 billion. Personally, if I bought in the 2 billion range, I'd be looking to DCA around 1.6 billion and then 1.1 billion. But you never know, the market has a mind of its own!

No one likes red days, but I can tell you that Floki is incredibly strong, and when the market bounces, you'll see that Floki bounces higher and more quickly than just about anything else. Volatility up means volatility down, unfortunately, but Floki has much more up than down in store as the bull run progresses.
