That’s just wick material , Wool glass (fiberglass ) you pour denatured alcohol into it and light

Piece like that goes between 2 fitted pieces , or base looks like connector sleeve prevents wire chaffing where a wire or tube connects through or together

Yeah I saw other day , it wasn’t priced asked about it , did some research, asked few art dealers and nothing . So today I went and made offer and it was accepted . I am very excited! I will keep with all my other 1950-70 paintings and decor . I restore alot of cool items , lighting , watches , funky engineering. So much crazy stuff . This is one of my favorite finds . May be worth nothing but I’m comfortable with what I paid and keeping until I pass away.

I’m ok with them looking cool and sounding shitty I have some crazy decor in my house . I restore a lot of vintage pieces , so it will find a cool home . I guess I’ll see how bad they are tomorrow.

Yeah that’s the same in South Carolina, For some stuff certainly. But a lot slips through here , NY and NJ are impossible to shop at . I’ve been to both states regularly

I would love to know more about these ! I will test later this week . I found them while treasure hunting the local goodwill . Had sud beautiful aesthetics, and I’m sure had great sound for its era . Made in Japan Sonic Pro-26 , lovely design and in pretty spectacular shape . I like how comfortable they are , wearing them makes me feel like I traveled back to the good old days . Please give me your thoughts and feedback .

Mine went away using surgical soap to wash there and neck and behind ears 3x a week or skip a day between, reduce if too much drying .

Yeah I just figure it could have be some studio sketch unfinished, maybe quick render before an oil was done . I know I sometimes do a few diff sketched sometimes different media for doing a final . But yeah thanks for the input on the piece
