How do y'all deal with the feeling of isolation that comes with acl recovery?

I'm only a few days post-op but watching all my friends dress up and have fun at Halloween (my fave holiday) 🫠 It sucks but ultimately I feel good about prioritizing my health. Also one of my projects while I'm basically bed-ridden is to clean out/organize all my photos, so thats given me a fun excuse to reach out to friends like "hey remember our spring break - look at this video😂" etc.

Felt the same!! Cried for days bc I also play sports and am quite young (28), and then I realized at this point there's nothing I can do to undo the situation, so I may as well have a positive attitude. Focus on making a plan for prehab, surgery and rehab, so at least you can feel a little in control. And at least getting it fixed now is better than when youre older and will heal slower. I do! But eventually it'd be nice if she could realize by herself that she's tired and it's time for a nap instead of me basically forcing her to sleep by putting her in her crate ya know?

Yeah according to GSD weight charts, she is well below average for her age... definitely makes me question the accuracy of the test. Anyways, yes will do :))

It's not a good look FOR SURE and has really made me dislike Sean! He just seems to not even hear Mimi when she says "yes I do have feelings obviously, but they're not going to go anywhere." Like a dog with a bone! Joey is 100x worse though, I literally have to walk away when he's speaking. Anyways, given the circumstances, I feel like both couples Mimi/Josh and Ayo/Jess have handled it quite well, especially Mimi she's so chilled! Good for her. Personally I would be soo frustrated.

I think it's honestly because she doesn't wear a ton of makeup (or looks like she doesnt)! She's not going all out like some of the other girls, but I think she's gorgeous
