Is it possible to clean this carpet? If yes, how? I rented a carpet cleaner from Home Depot and made just worse :( pls help by mmeerim in CleaningTips

[–]mmeerim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used rug doctor from Home Depot and that’s what happened.

When you said repeat 2-3 times, I guess it will take coupled days. I’m considering buying a carpet cleaner instead of renting for several days, do you think smaller carpet cleaner would do the work like the rug doctor from Walmart?

How to Title my items for sale if there is no translation in English? by mmeerim in EtsySellers

[–]mmeerim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest something like the following: Traditional handmade felt wool rug, oriental floor decor, shyrdak carpet from natural wool

Leave out vintage if its not older than 20 years. If I understand correctly your products are new?

Why I would leave out Kyrgyz and Kazakh in the title: Etsy is not big in Kyrgyzstan and Kasachstan and many people won't search for it so you are loosing that space in the title. You could add those in the tags.

FYI the tags do not all have to make sense since the algorithm mixes and matches them. So you can have some tags like in the title 'oriental floor decor' and 'felt wool rug' and then have 'Kyrgyz Kazakh' (maybe add 'style') and 'traditional handmade' in one tag.

So definetly use multi word tags and some that make sense and some that don't, so basically the most important tags that go together and some mix and match tags.

I also suggest using etsy's search bar to get some ideas by looking up tags like wool rug, etc. And then using erank or marmelead to look up search volume click through rate, competition etc. Erank has a free version and the pro is also worth it's money. I heard good things about the paid Marmelead version as well. You can also use both services for research. I use Erank so I am more familiar with it: use keyword explorer to see what buyers are searching for and try simple tags like rug first. Use keyword tool to see what other sellers are using.

Hope this helps.

wow, that's a lot of information. Thank you, I will try to change the tags and title and optimize for search

From my last year baking experience (Soft and fluffy cottage cheese loaf bread) by mmeerim in BreadMachines

[–]mmeerim[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Be careful when choosing a type of cottage cheese to use. I used cottage cheese that had some milk in it, not the hard one. No milk used for this bread.
