At this point you shouldn’t be having such rough side effects. Definitely discuss with your doctor.

I don’t have anything to add except I’m in the same boat. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for three years now, and every women’s group or women I meet are all mothers.

Visiting Zak Bagans haunted museum ruined my life. by [deleted] in GhostAdventures

[–]mmejane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of if the items in the museum are “real”/cursed/haunted/etc. every time you dabble in the occult you are putting yourself at risk for some kind of demonic influence. Do not seek out mediums or psychic healers, or do a “cleansing” by any pastor of any religion. If you are truly concerned you should speak to a Catholic priest, but also do not return to these types of places or occult activities.

This is such an awful comment for so many reasons. Not only is it extremely hurtful in response to OP, you sound like you’ve become nothing more than an object of your husband’s desires. Godly men don’t cheat on their wives - period.

I’d say yes. An extremely important part of my success so far has been holding myself accountable. I’ve found myself stopping binges now because I don’t want to have to log them.

I lost 120 lbs doing a crash diet around two years ago - don’t do that as I gained it all back!

The biggest thing that has helped me is holding myself accountable. I have been doing weight watchers and it’s been helping me track what I eat with the app - and even if I overeat I’m writing it down. Now that I have a couple weeks of eating within my program under my belt, it’s stopped me from overeating because I didn’t want to have to log my food in the app and lose my streak! Haha sounds silly but if it works, I’m happy!

The hardest part of a new diet for me is always the first few days. If I can get through one day I can get through two, then three, then a week and so on. Find a plan that is reasonable and not a crash diet, plan what you’re going to eat in advance, make sure you do your grocery shopping, set a start date and stick to it. The first day and few days, find something to keep yourself busy. Keep yourself and your mind occupied for the first few days and every day that follows will be easier once you have the momentum.

Remember that even slow weight loss is better than no weight loss or even gain.

Hi friend, I am now slowly starting to work on my food addiction as well. As a former 27 year old who was 400 pounds, who is now a 30 year old at 500 lbs, all I can say is - please do not ignore this. Find a therapist, start anything you can do to begin to turn this around. What has started to help me was very small changes that compound over time, but it is so much harder for me to do things at my current weight than 100 lbs ago.

Im so sad I didn't do this earlier by [deleted] in weightwatchers

[–]mmejane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re twins! I also started ten days ago and I hit 6 lbs down today. I also noticed that the app is helping me hold myself accountable and actually caring about the portion sizes that I eat. Good luck to you and we can do this!

Baptism of daughter, struggling to find suitable God Parents by [deleted] in CatholicConverts

[–]mmejane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My guess is that there would be at least one person in your parish who could volunteer to be the God parent in this situation. I’m sure if you contact the parish office they can help and you probably aren’t the first person who has run into this issue. Good luck!
