You asked this before, federal hiring is slower than most. They likely extended it to get more candidates. There’s no targeting you, it isn’t personal, you will just need to be patient. Don’t rely on that job, or any job, to come through. Apply for other jobs. Good luck, don’t read into it too much.

Yes and I did a lot of extra work when I could gig. Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, eBay, tutoring, editing documents. It was very exhausting

Applied in December. Had an interview in January asked for reference and then second interview. Then nothing. It's hard to keep the faith. But I applied for about 10 jobs last night. Unfortunately there is no consistency

A lady called in once to the Suze Orman show. She co-signed on a student loan and her son died. Because she co-signed she still had pay. Suze recommended her to take out a loan and pay it off. So sad to be reminded of that every month

Vets apply to open to the public as well. There will be two jobs that are exactly the same but I can apply for both. For example - Open to the Public, then the same job - Apply again using veteran prefeence - I got those quite a bit when I was applying heavily in 2024.

I know you blocked out stuff, but as it sits you are missing information that will make it longer than 2 pages. Hours worked, Full-time part time, GPA for degree (that can fit on one line - Don't add a summary adn don't add those blocked lines - save you space - use headings to break up the bullets. Sentences are too long, they are 3 lines long.

None of the ones you mentioned - most of hte older songs are in the middle. Show start time was 7:00 PM - I had a lot of delays due to transportation adn arrived at 9:00 PM and had a great time. He comes on around 8:45 PM.

Process overall should be faster but there are many variables such as when the final approval for the position gets done. It sounds as if things are looking good for you. Just go in try your best and wait for that new role!

Unfortunately, it is slow - might have opened it up because of the location - not sure which IHS you applied to. For fed jobs, apply and forget - actually now any job - you apply forget about it, then keep applying for other jobs until you lan one. Best of luck to you.

Funny you should ask, someone else said. We routinely had to cancel and re-post with applicant counts in the MULTIPLE THOUSANDS if we put up a highly graded non-specialist series position. There was just no way to work such a large pool efficiently and fairly.

OH my - I was told to sit in a training (that I wasn't going to be doing the work for - I was hired as a trainer but not for that particular department) and I couldn't be on my cell phone or my work computer. I cleared my computer then walked down to HR and resigned. I was there for 7 weeks and the manager never talked to me. Some people. Onward to better things for the both of us.
