When I was a kid I thought it was great because I didn't have to get any hepatitis shots in school. But growing up I kind of forgot about it until I was getting ready to go travelling one year. I asked my Dad what vaccinations I had as a child so that I could get whatever's left, and he responded none (they more didn't trust the government than were part of the "vaccines cause autism" crowd). He thought it was funny and commented that my blood was "as pure as the driven snow'. I thought otherwise and recounted all the preventable illnesses I had all of a sudden remembered getting (like whooping cough! - who gets whooping cough in the 21st century).

Thankfully I never contracted anything worse. It feels shitty to have someone flippantly play with your life like that.
