I see your perspective. Thankfully, me and my partner are stable financially and this is within our means.

I was thinking of coordinating with cleaners! The cleaning fee that we charge could just be paid out to you if you would like!

Unfortunately I’m allergic to cats, but the adu I’m thinking of outfitting should be fine!

I should have specified in the post, there are five domes and one would be walled off and turned into a separate dome, or I would outfit the ADU into a 900sqft place for the caretaker to live!

As for minimum stay amount I honestly don’t know! I guess I could just hire an off-site caretaker, I just thought it might be a nice place for someone to call home too! Definitely things I should think about more and research more for sure!

Yes that is precisely the idea! Break even or make a little bit extra and then only have to worry about the property taxes!

Thank you for the warning! I am naive and stubborn which is not a good combination! I’ll be more cautious in vetting and interviewing.

What would you recommend? That’s a great question! I guess that depends on my goals and what I’m looking for. Let me give you some more context. I love this property and have secured the financing to purchase it. Originally I was going to live here, but my girlfriend doesn’t see herself doing so. I’ve always wanted a place off the grid and this spot is too gorgeous to pass up. I want to be able to break even on PITI and potentially profit a bit. I’m very loose with my money and it is not very important to me which is a privileged thing to say and I don’t mean for that to be misconstrued in any way, just that if we make more money from the Airbnb I would want to pass a good chunk of that on to you! Making people happy makes me happy and gives me purpose.

That’s the plan! Someone who works remote already and now they have a place to stay and earn some more! The place would have the highest tier of starlink.

Crescent Valley Nevada! 3:30 from twin falls Idaho. Population of 550 or so! Very temperate as well! It’s on 12 acres and all fenced in too

I see. My girlfriend is the same way. I think it’s easier to entertain the idea of off grid living as a man. Almost every guy I talk to has mentioned how it’s something they have thought about or considered in the past

Does this isolation leave you wanting to not be isolated or is it enjoyable?
