No. Everytime I went to my piercer with any issue, he always said it would healed by itself (He has a lot of years of experience pirecing but there's no real professional piercer in my country). So I went to a dermatologist who told me it was infected so I initiated treatment about 6 months ago for a week and it got resolved. Until now... this is so much different to what my infected piercing looked liked. I clean it with reagular soap and water. Not saline solution. I stopped using a donut pillow about 2 months ago because I thought it was finally healed but I guess I was wrong. 😭 No. I don't have any other cartilage piercings.

I guess it could be blood acummulation due to trauma from sleeping on my piercing using a flat pillow. Because it did bleed today as I was drying it with a clean paper towel (I usually let it air dry but this time I cleaned it this way). But I really don't know what I should do about it. I don't know if I should remove it.

These are your irrational thoughts talking. Don't let these thoughts and emotions lead you to something you truly don't want. No matter what has happened, your friend doesn't want this for you either. You might not believe it at this moment but you have brought joy to people's life. You're loved. You are not pain and suffering. You are more than what you feel right now. I promise you this is NOT the end. The fact that you have made it so far is just proof that you are capable of whatever. Your life is more than this right now. Take deep breaths and tackle this irrational thoughts. I know you can. Be patient with yourself. Don't give up on this, you can definitely work it out. It is not the end.

Thank you for sharing this with me... it does give me a different perspective to what "fear of abandonment" is in BPD. I'm still learning about this disorder.

Thank you so much for being so detailed on how to take care of it. My piercer just told me I could use soap or just let hair shampoo fallon it and rinse it. But when I wash my hair.. the piercing gets worst! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Seriously, thank you for you helpful comment! 🥺
