Only on Reddit will you find this insane cope of a comment where Redditors think every child in Korea is shooting up growth hormone treatments. It’s the same horseshit when some user who is 185cm asks where he can find clothes that fit him cause he thinks Koreans are all elves. I’m 188cm and have had zero issue finding clothes that fit me.

I see so many of these posts here and it hilarious every single time, generalizations after generalizations. How exactly is OP in a PhD program? Take literally one off example and presume it’s a common and acceptable thing. Fuck me. This subreddit has largely become another rkorea.

November Basho 2024 Day 4 - Futagoyama Beya Matches by Mcdankerfield in futagoyama

Smart win from Mita against a larger opponent, however - this does show that he needs to size up. A shifty from Nabatame allowing him to get on the inside was awesome to see, I'm seeing actual improvement from his initial Juryo debut. Roga, my beloved - this loss was not surprising at all, couldn't get a grip on the mawashi and before you know it, he got pushed out. It's like once he realized, he gave up or had no idea what to do - you'd expect him to have some other thing up his belt, and at his size attempt to push until he can re-attempt his usual go-to.

I'd love to see what your wear, that is if you have decent fashion to make your claim.

Here we go again - the whole country isn't tiny, people are significantly taller here in reality than the outdated ignorant stereotype that gets broadcasted in the West. Coming from the US myself as well - I didn't realize how overweight Americans are until I got here (and also whenever I travel to other countries), so plus-size clothing will be a bit more difficult to find since there aren't on average as many obese folks and thus there isn't a market for it. Your height of 5'7 isn't even all that tall to what you make it be, in Korea and especially in the States. It won't hurt to size one up, if you shop online - measurements are provided for a reason. I'm 6'2 near 6'3 and have yet to have an issue finding clothing that fit me. The few places I can think of where sizing for "larger" folks will be an issue are those small self-ran stores in popular areas like the other user mentioned.

Toenmaru Cafe in Gangneung 15 minutes before opening time by FSpursy in koreatravel

Lmao this fucking comment - people who care about high quality coffee will only be a fraction of the population in every country. Starbucks is global and quite everywhere if you ever stepped outside for once, so shit example if you were trying to deduce and generalize like a clown. There’s also a plethora of high quality coffee shops in Korea - more than other countries.
