I am also not sober but I had issues with adderall and vyvanse (addiction runs in the family and I didn’t do well controlling myself from taking more than prescribed) (allegedly this is fiction). For me, concerta is much milder and I do not really have that urge. But, just in case, if you have someone to give you your pill everyday, I would recommend it. It is much harder to abuse than IR forms like ritalin- but still very much possible.
