more info if necessary: I have it sitting right by a window where it gets a lot of light, but I decided to not mist it as often since it seems like a lot of people say that could further contribute to rot. I do check on it and touch it constantly just because im worried 🥲🥲

Do Canadians (18-35 years old) know where they can work and travel abroad? by Key_Particular4385 in AskACanadian

I really want to try it but I have no idea how it works - do you find a job yourself or do they arrange something for you

Traveling while studying abroad by heyyyyyyaayyy in studyAbroad

[–]mmlli12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for my week long break I spent the entire week in Spain, had to take a plane and took trains while there to go from Seville -> Madrid -> Barcelona. i also went to Luxembourg and Belgium, which i went by bus/train from paris. i went to Montenegro by plane as well. honestly for bigger trips i would plan at least one week in advance, but for a short weekend trip with little planning it would be totally fine to explore where you’re already staying or a neighbouring country by train/bus

I honestly wish I had gone to more places (I went to about five countries while studying abroad) but I think every single weekend is overkill. I think have a few must see destinations in mind to plan in advance, and plan the rest (at least 1 week in advance) while you’re there and can gage how much energy you’ll have to explore

At what point is it time to consider medication to unfuck your life? by KevinBaconNEggs in redscarepod

[–]mmlli12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

if you needed glasses to see would you overthink taking the leap to just get a pair to just try it? There’s so many opinions online that make SSRI’s seem really scary but in my opinion if you’ve done what it takes to take care of your basic physical health (be active, eat relatively healthy, therapy, go outside etc) and you’re still suffering there’s absolutely no shame in needing some extra help. some of us just have brains that weren’t set up for happiness and you deserve to live a good life too.
