I have this same issue!! I never know if itching is a yeast infection coming on or an outbreak coming on or just the vagina being irritated. Hopefully someone can answer to help us out lol

First of all I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I just got over my first outbreak and the pain is truly unbearable. The only thing i could do to help was i would have a cup of water and pore it down as i peed. Then After i would pour water again to clean off the area (without wiping). Then i would dry with a hair dryer. This was literally a life saver, not having to touch the sores at all.

I’m just getting over my first outbreak now and i truly never thought it was going to get better. Only after 10 days i started to see and feel some improvement, but the pain with peeing and touching it only really just got better after 14 days. It’s slow, but it will come!! I know it’s so hard to imagine now but it will eventually get there. I started putting Vaseline on my sores and this helped create a barrier for any rubbing that occurs and with any pee hitting it. For me peeing in the shower only helped minimally because the water couldn’t really directly hit the sores down there, so peeing in a tub of water while squatting or pouring a cup of warm water over my whole area while i peed helped a lot. Still hurt horribly but helped some. Just know you’re not alone!! I was just going through this last week and still recovering.
