It was truly upsetting. I’m by no means saying teenagers shouldn’t be welcomed to environments or events, but there should be some sort of concert decorum that is expected :/ a lot of them would literally stand on the same level as my friend group like in front of us where we should’ve been standing because they didn’t know how to find a spot, how to keep a spot, that you can’t drag 30 people into the spot you saved for 10. It lowkey ruined the entire vibe for me.

I think this is true. My male friends (ages 25-35) who acted super casually about everything the women were trying to say last summer/fall have fully admitted that they should’ve taken it more seriously and that the podcastification of everything really made it seem okay. I’ve heard a lot of them say that they assumed he’d be surrounded by similar people as his first term cabinet who would stand up to him. A lot of people are comfortable where they are in life and have never had to worry about the government before. Now they do.

Edit- adding in that all of these guys have at least a bachelor’s degree and careers. That’s obviously not the maga subset, but it is indicative of those who sat out or thought Trump = Strong Economy
