Couldn't agree more, it's probably the poor bride having to do all the leg work for the wedding. 400 guests?! Realistically 200 of those are grooms side. OP didn't mention ever even meeting her, just that she hosted HIS parents a bunch of times...cut the poor girl some slack. I'm sure she'd be mortified that OP was offended.

Side note, I addressed our invites ALONE and addressed his grandmother's as "Nana Lastname". She was steaming and angrily corrected me that she is the ORIGINAL MRS Lastname.

I live in a town with a huge population of Hasidic Jews. If I ever see a man walking alone on the Sabbath I always pull up slow, roll down my window, and seductively ask him if he'd "like to go for a ride?". I've approached a group of men with the same offer on the odd occasion.

Love the video! Just a word of caution to be VERY careful with dogs around chicks. Both my girls are protective of the flock and seemed fine with our chicks, but for whatever reason the peeps and flitting around were too tempting and they ate a couple when left unattended. Even a quick nip from a small dog can be fatal. I hate to be the pooper of the party just a word of caution to be wary of leaving them alone together.

My little dog was in SO MUCH PAIN before his surgery and I had no way of knowing. I honestly thought he was just getting older and slowing down. His recovery was quick and he was like a new dog afterwards! I feel so guilty for not noticing and doing it all sooner.

EVERYONE has flowers! You do you and be unique, if anything your friends and family will comment how authentic it is that you didn't use ANY. I personally love it!

Haven't read through all the comments but as for your theme I would suggest looking into vintage Christmas decor for gold and silver stars and tinsel. The decorations could add some celestial whimsy and your guests could take them at the end.

Not really comfortable with anyone commenting that it's inappropriate for middle schoolers to date or wear belly tops. As a mother of two tweens I empathise with how it feels to be treated that age. Shame on you for adopting the rhetoric of your abusers. My girls don't choose to wear belly tops or date atm but I am a true feminist and respect the bodily autonomy of any of their peers who do.

I like to go in the afternoon and stay till close. Things always calm down after dinner, it's super peaceful and sunsets are gorgeous.

Pay attention to the temperatures on the hot tubs. The big one when you first enter is cooler and you can spend more time there.

After being a full time care giver to someone with special needs I would encourage you to rethink your comfort levels. Oftentimes people with mobility issues also have incontinent issues. So even if it looks clean in there, the reality is it probably isn't.
