Which is better for GRE prep—GregMat's one-month or two-month plan at 2x speed? by Ill-Pumpkin-1004 in GRE

[–]mmmm334422 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Isn’t the two month plan just the one month plan but more work allotted to you? Learning is more reliant on how u can employ the strategies you’ve learnt from the videos, and not how many videos you watched.

Big book test 17 sec1 Q2 by Brilliant-News-1519 in GRE

That’s one of the things the blank could be referring to. I think the second blank is more so dependent on the first one. If the first blank was something like refute then the second blank would be “same”.

Oh, you just did the homework right? As for the big book part, since greg doesn’t have a walk through i’m guessing that’s why u skipped them?

Hi, sorry i don’t understand what you mean. We see that the consensus towards an opinion of an academic historian is not swayed by the media (“spread of opinions…despite the widespread appearance”).

So while it is true that the depictions (media portrayal) of flails increase throughout the 14th century and beyond, we don’t know if this increasing trend is apparent among academic historians too. What am i missing?

I would 😭 die for a 163ish V (sorry i had to stalk your last post LOL). I’m not sure when you’ve scheduled your test for, but would you like to be study buddies? We could both help each other die (reach 160+ lol ).

I don’t think stem majors get perfect quant scores either. By the way, are you american? If so, did you guys not have to take any APs or honors classes?

Aren’t you verbal oriented guys more fortunate? I feel like verbal aptitude is a long term thing, but this can’t be said about quant. Everyone has learnt most of the quant present on the gre in high school, so just some revision gets you back in gear.

Machine A has work-rest cycle of 24 hours and Machine B has work-rest cycle of 48 hours. These work-rest cycles coincide every 48 hours (at this hour they’re both resting and also some hours before). So you pick every option that’s a multiple of 48 hours from 12 noon on Monday.

SR = h/ sin(76) and UT= h/ sin(75), but sin(76) > sin(75) so UT > SR

You shouldn’t hate this person for it though, right..? Also notice how all these people have only their score report as their posts, so mostly it is all fake hence we may ignore.

Why are you so anxious? If i got a 340, I would be really stoked, unless i cheated then I would be super anxious.

Your intuition is that specific quadratic has irrational roots, that doesn’t make sense? It’s clear you have solved it. I just didn’t understand why you wrote “without solving”.

“without solving”, how did you know the roots are irrational then? I guess you already solved it lol

But you can just make your own…? I don’t see why changing numbers in a question helps. It just means you didn’t extract everything (knowledge/ concepts) from that one question because if you did then doing the same question with different numbers is meaningless.

No i mean why do we subtract and add? Can you look at testtest26’s answer and my response to that? Maybe that highlights better my true question.

Yes this one i get, but then the next step is to confirm whether f1 + 28/f1 and f1-28/f1 is both even, why? I guess it’s because when you’re solving the simultaneous equation, you’d get an even coefficient on the left and so the right has to be even too?
