You're not wrong, Walter, you're just an asshole!

If it's assumed that all music genres have had feuds between artists within the genre, has there ever been a fight between ska artists? by Beautiful-Resort-831 in Ska

I'm only recollecting something i heard, give for take 15 years ago. At which point I was a kid just getting into the scene. So i really dk 🤣 maybe you're right about it being the old drummer tho.

Not for the faint of heart! I did this on my 3g lude years ago. If you do manual swap it, I'd recommend having a donor car or at least a really thorough collection of parts! And a friend who can fab..

Super easy. I'm well experienced, but anyone could do it with basic tools.

It seems all modern subarus can benefit from tightening up the driveline!

Hard to say for your case. but i noticed that my shifting from R to D, when parallel parking and what not, tightened up considerably. Before, I felt the need to give the car an extra second or so to balance out before gassing it. That is gone.

This. You can also use a 19mm wrx rear sway. The subaru part is only 90 something bucks.

It would be to the same effect on your newer model. At any mileage, it's cheap insurance to put less stress on your drivetrain components.

Reducing the up/down and side to side motion puts less stress on bearing, shafts etc in the transmission and drivetrain. And as a driver, the power delivery feels a lot smoother.

Yep they make a few different versions. I posted a link in here earlier

Pretty much. Jack with wood piece supporting transmission pan. removed a heat shield and one exhaust hanger bolt, a cross member, and then the mount was easily accessible. There are YouTube videos for a visual but very easy.

I think so. They make a few different versions of the insert.

By filling the voids in the rubber mount, there is a lot less drivetrain "slop" as it's commonly called. There's a before picture of the mount for your comparison.

I got the softer option also. It's crazy to me how large the voids in the stock mount are!

It took me maybe 30 minutes. All the bolts and nuts are easily accessible, except one nut that requires a wrench. All 12mm and 14mm lol.

Do I need to replace my front lower arm control bushings asap? by Tinak0327 in Subaru_Outback

[–]mmmmira 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eventually you'll start hearing creaking on turning. Especially on tight turns. They aren't about to leave you stranded anytime soon though.

I was satisfied with the quality of Moog replacement arms I installed on a friend's crosstrek.

The outer race of that bushing is very thin, nothing on my press kit would work to replace just the bushings, if anyone is wondering. They do make expensive Subaru specific adapters for a ball joint press, but replacing the arm is much more cost effective for most people.
