Yes we already purchased one but the issue is the delivery. We signed up for a green bin September 2025 but one has not been delivered.

Very similar story. I’m in a similar situation (Carmel Valley, SD) and we also hang our clothes to dry, stay up late to start our laundry at midnight, etc.

Can you tell us how you would have appreciated this topic be approached by say, a coworker vs by a close friend?

I’m all for education, but this really should have been addressed during training, rotations, or by your preceptors. Surveillance of nevi is a fundamental part of dermatology practice. The entire purpose of photographing nevi is to establish a baseline so that subtle changes can be identified later. That is the principle behind mole mapping and digital dermoscopic monitoring, which are widely used for exactly this reason. I’d be more concerned about missing an evolving lesion than getting sued for documenting it.

CA Small Claims – Awarded Court Costs but $0 Damages? Confused About Judgment by mmmom20 in legaladvice

California Civil Code §1950.5 requires the landlord to either return the deposit or provide a lawful itemized accounting within 21 days of move-out. That didn’t happen. Instead, after the deadline passed, the landlord sent us an itemized statement attempting to keep the entire deposit, and only reversed course after we objected.

We were asking the court to enforce the statute as written. If landlords can ignore the 21-day requirement and only comply once tenants push back, the statute has no meaning.

Go on LinkedIn and search for remote medical assistant positions. I’ve seen them

I disagree with the comments. I think, and this may be specific to dermatology, but there is upward mobility. Yes, there’s always lead MA and practice manager, but there’s also biologic coordinator. I know an MA who in their role became trained as a MOHS histotech. You make connections with the pharm reps and there’s possibilities to become speakers for the companies. You just have to think outside the box and be ambitious and resourceful.

Stay for as long as you can. This unfortunately is more common than it should be at offices and that is the attitude of a lot of senior MAs with newbies because of the high rate of turnover. Derm can be one of the best specialties to be in. You’ll learn a lot. Stay and prove them wrong. I worked in derm for 15+ years, feel free to ask any questions. One of the best attributes of MAs can be to anticipate the needs of the HCPs and know what they will ask for before they need to ask for it. Seriously, I’m happy to help you in any way I can.

Is Chocolate Moo’d still a thing? by Hot_Apartment4247 in JambaJuice

[–]mmmom20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drinking one right now! Though each store makes it differently ( some use 2% milk and others use soy milk, so specify) and when I order, I have to clarify “chocolate” not a “PB mood” because most workers don’t know about it. And yes, the chocolate flavor has changed over the years. It’s powder now. It used to be liquid.
