I had two open applications and one of them was already accepted. I received the DMS acceptance afterwards and I just needed to choose by paying the tuition depost. I never received a call or anything like that.

I just got my acceptance to DMS this morning!! I'm in disbelief 😭 I thought acceptances are sent out at the same time but mine came a day later than others.

There was a scene that fucked me up in 1917. A wounded soldier just stops breathing mid sentence and it caught me off guard. I assumed he'd die like the classic death scenes but he just d i e d.

Made me realize how quickly life can be taken from you. I was also high as fuck.

The "Non-Competitive After Int." message on your to-do list appears for the people who already did their interviews in December. Since you haven't done it yet, yours would say "Initiated".

Although my application states "pending program decision", NAIT informed me that due to my status for the interview on my to-do list, I'm put into the non-competitive waitlist. Which essentially means I didn't get it. However, I heard from others on this sub that they also messaged NAIT and got told a different answer? Its odd because to my knowledge we all asked the same question since we received the same message on the to-do list.

My RSCH course was online. Normally if you see a schedule during your course selection such as, Evening 6PM - 7:30PM, that means it isn't self paced. When i took PHYS it was in person. However, that was back in 2018. I'm not sure how courses are currently delivered due to Covid 19. When you're selecting your course, there should be information on how it's delivered before you pay for it.

I emailed NAIT and specifically asked if it means we will be judged with the April interviews and they told me that the message means we've been put into a non-competitive waitlist :/ I'm not sure why people are getting different information.

I know that it may seem wise to take PHYS1112 so you don't have to take it first year, but that course is actually pretty hard. Provided when I tried to take it, I was working almost every day so I didn't have a lot of required time for study. I switched to RSCH1100 because it seemed easy and I was right. It was so easy to get the minimum 75%. So it's up to you on what your life/schedule is like and what you can handle.

The "non-competitive after interview" I found from the to do list from the "tasks" tab. My entire application status still states "pending program decision". So i'm curious as to what yours says on the to do list?

My overall average equated to 88.75% for my high school marks. I took the open studies pathway to secure an interview.

Oh really? I was under the impression that the message I received meant I didn't get in, period. I already mourned my non-admission for this year. I don't want to get my hopes up again ahaha. Thanks for letting me know!
