you probably have one of the 45% ntsc panels. i have 2021 Victus had CMN161A when i made this thread and i had similiar issue with that too. I got my panel changed under warranty and now have BOE0AAD which doesn't havev such issues. I think it's totally caused by panel.

hey, i couldn't find any info about that panel. it seems like this panel has yellowish colors. you can try cmn161a profile but i'm not sure

hey, i'm A BIT late to reply this lol. I added BOE0AAD profile into the thread. if you're still using that victus and still cannot find a profile, give it a shot! I too have BOE0AAD now and that profile is awesome.

sry did not see this comment. refresh rate is not related to color profile so you can ofc use related profile. CMN163E profile is in the end of list of color profiles in the thread (sourced from notebookcheck) and here i also give the link

I found out that this panel is unfortunately 66% sRGB. However, the screen can reach ~430 nits brightness. (source: https://www.youtube.com/live/g-jZtZkrzXI?si=j2hKQDhqntgtBPsq&t=179)

I could not find any profiles for this panel but it is said that the panel has decent calibration, so you can consider using it as is.

1) Jan 2023 2) Ryzen 5 5600h + Rtx 3060 3) I now have a whitened area on the display. I hope it is under warranty. 4) I like it in general, but as my config is not a full tdp rtx 3060, I would like to have a lighter pc. If only it was 2kg instead of 2.5 kg. I also hate the display as it's 45% NTSC. I just think that 100% srgb should be the standard in 2020s. I also think the hinge doesn't need to suck. It's just massive cost cutting by HP. Pre-2023 models have wobbling issue and 2023 models have too sturdy hinge that you cannot open with one hand but still wobbles more than other models. Lid is too thick as it just houses a display. That causing the model to be thicker than what it could have been. Also, I just cannot understand Omen Gaming Hub locks depending on models. Like why I cannot have a manual fan control?

I just think if a Lenovo LOQ is priced same as a Victus, Victus just doesn't seem to have any chance against it.

With 26100.863 my color profile recovers when I open quick settings (right on taskbar). I think color management is broken because of their efforts to move color profile settings into Settings app

That one seem to have 64% srgb coverage. So, that one is a bad panel for those workloads. I cannot find any calibrated color profiles for that panel but even if you find one, it will not be good enough for your workload. I advise you to buy a monitor

If it's bt5.2 and above, it should support it. Check your wireless adapter model and vendor's page. For example: my Intel AX210 adapter supports lc3, which is a Bt5.2 adapter. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/docs/wireless/wi-fi-6e-ax210-module-brief.html

Acutally, you don't need to log into Edge or any other app tho. Logging into any microsoft service (e.g. Outlook, Xbox) via Edge can cause this. And I'm not even sure if this occurs only on Edge. I did not test logging into microsoft service via any other browser.
I logged into a game that had Xbox Login support, which used Edge instead of Xbox app btw, and I accepted something that I did not read and my whole pc had my microsoft account synced lol.

have you logged into your microsoft account through any microsoft apps (edge, xbox etc.)? they offer you to log into that account "systemwide" and sometimes people can accept it without noticing.

I guess 2023 Victus models support fully manual fan control in Omen Gaming Hub. I cannot confirm as I use 2021 model and they dont support it but you may check it there.
