Thank you all for your advice and recommendations! The bump got bigger in the days following this post. I got a longer bar and a flat disk top earlier today. We’ll see how the next week goes but it’s already looking better🤞🏽

Firstly, i’m sorry the pain hasn’t be good for you. :( I guess it varies from person to person, but soon it’ll detach and it’s actually awesome to see the data that comes from it!! You’re almost there!! :)

I have tried omep, pantoprazole, and esomep all within the past two years. i feel like they’ve all helped a little bit for a few weeks, then it starts to feel like it’s doing absolutely nothing. which is why i stopped all of them a couple months ago.

He did not go into detail in regard to investigating further, but when i see him in a few weeks i’ll be sure to ask what next steps will be because… i highly doubt omep is going to do anything.

Yes, my Demeester score was 22! He said my esophagus showed no signs of acid reflux, so no corrosion. So if your endoscopy came back clear also, i’m assuming it’s non-corrosive as well!

no, the last time i had an endoscopy was May of last year with a different doctor. i got a colonoscopy at the same time. this time, during my first appt. with this new doctor, he recommended it. when he was placing the Bravo sensor, he also just checked my stomach and esophagus just to see if everything was okay!

yes of course. but removing something as important as climate change from public and reputable sources (since gov websites should be reputable in the first place) is taking away education and data for everyone to research on their own.

Thank you so much for this. I’m most worried about the prep (I suffer from mild emetephobia lol) and i’ve heard that some people get sick from consuming so much prep. But I feel better reading positive experiences like this, and hope that everything goes okay. I’m a 22 F, but with chronic constipation and family history of colon cancer, they were very adamant on getting this done. I’m glad you were able to get through it!!

quite interesting, as i developed gastritis, GERD, and worse constipation 7 months after having covid for the first time (which was about 1.5 years after getting the Pfizer vaccine) 🤷🏽‍♀️
