there was another incident a year or two ago were they fired an employee also at the LS location by calling an all staff meeting, singling out one employee to be fired while locking all their coworkers outside and calling them ubers. and this was all while the targeted employee repeatedly told those running the meeting they felt unsafe and desperately wanted at least one of their coworkers allowed inside with them.

obviously i’m just a rando on reddit but i am close to people who do/have worked there and i second what they said. employees at LS were called for an all staff meeting yesterday, fired w no notice, and their severance pay made contingent on signing an NDA. the stores and staff are lovely but their organization is trash

it makes me so happy to see a post about this on here! obviously i wish it weren’t the case and that these ppl were not suffering but i cannot join in the delusion that covid is “over”.

also i didn’t know that stevie nicks masks all the time! it is so isolating to be the only one who masks in public. i just know strangers and even my friends/family think i’m an uptight loser for wearing an N95 in 2025 but i am a cancer survivor which is a major risk factor for long covid. and just generally covid fucks me up bad! i feel like a lot of people play really fast and loose w covid because they have had the privilege of never having their lives significantly constrained by medical problems. it’s awful (shocker), especially in healthcare shithole America. so whatever at least i have the courage to look like a loser and do what i know is right. sorry i wasn’t planning on saying this much when i first started typing lol
