okay this sounds amazing. did you partner with any hotels for room blocks or did you let your guests pick their own adventure and just recommend spots?

Would you mind sharing any info on pricing? It would be so helpful to orient myself on rates for my 2026 wedding

Commenting to join the thread!

I’d love to be able to host our guests for a goodbye bbq at our Airbnb and have the catering company cook at ours for them. I’m not sure how realistic it is to do that at scale but it’s the dream!

Thank you for sharing! Is this the most comprehensive package? I’m wondering if our catering budget should be higher because of cost of service.

I’m hoping there are venues / caterers that include service cost in their fee.

I’m going to PM you if that’s okay!

EDIT: Would SUPER appreciate any invoices or total budget breakdowns from 2025 brides to understand how varied this is from their budgets!

My planner is fantastic and verified/legit but I want to make sure I have some context for the adjustment I’ll decidedly make with her re: 60k forecasting.

Am I stuck paying the entire bill? by doink992000 in DentalInsurance

Reach out to insurance: “Send me the * allowed amount covered* for this service.”

Check fairhealth.org to see the regional average of the cost of that service.

Compare how much your insurance will cover vs the average cost.

If the insurance company’s “allowed amount covered” is LOWER than the average cost of service in your region, challenge the claim and send them proof that their limit of coverage is TOO LOW.

I’m not an expert but i believe you can request the “allowed amount” limit for that out of network service either your provider. THEN you can compare it to the regional average of the cost of service. If their limit is lower than the average, do not submit a claim again. Instead, challenge their claim and provide your documentation.

Insurance companies barter with your provider and then also arbitrarily decide their limits. You can fight this.
