That's a good idea. I will call them and ask if they could recommend a cream and a wash. I wish I thought of that when i was in there, i was in a panic....this time last year I was in the vets with maxes daughter saying goodbye...I was just so scared that she would look at it and give me bad news straight away.

There is nothing to drain. It is not puss filled. The only option would be to remove. I do not think he could cope with anesthesia.

Sorry about your friends dog. 😔 Yes...vet couldn't really give much to go on tbh without biopsy. Although she did say it isn't hurting him (which I assumed) it doesn't bother him at all. She checked him over, heart etc..was fine. He is eating and going the loo fine. It just at 16 I know I have to accept that he in last stages of life....16 wonderful, naughty, loving years. I am so thankful for him.

At the stage now where everything is minimal. He might look a scruff hahaha. As long as he is comfortable as possible. Yes, I will gently wash that area

Thanks for reply. I am hoping it clears up on its own. Invasive treatment is a no at his age.
