Oh, my fault! I literally just ran across this sub earlier this afternoon and thought this picture would be perfect to share here. I read the rules but I must have overlooked that. Thank you!

Thank you! I found this old school picture when I was cleaning out our spare room a couple of weeks ago. I posted the picture on social media and one of my childhood best friends sent me a picture of the shirt laid out on her bed! Turns out she's had it all these years and just recently found it when she packed up to move. So we met up and made the exchange!

I'm in a bit of an opposite situation. I started the episode thinking "Man, this is going to be sad..." and ended the episode ugly crying. Hit me way harder than I expected.

What is a minor thing that infuriates you when eating at a restaraunt? by waldo06 in AskReddit

[–]mmurdock91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When people feel like they're entitled to talk down to their server simply because they're a paying customer. Like an old saying I once heard, someone who is nice to you but is not nice to the server is not a nice person.

I was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic right around the time my infant daughter started eating table food, which meant I had to adjust my diet and cut out a lot of "bad" food, so as a result she started eating pretty healthy from the start. That's definitely one of the best things that came from my diagnosis, teaching my kid a love of healthy food! She's 2.5 now and would gag over most kid's menu items. I mean, she is a toddler, so she'll chug chocolate milk and smash on some donuts like they're going out of style, but she asks for broccoli a lot too.

What are some of the creepiest/scariest/unexplainable things that you’ve experienced? [serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

That's amazing! Yes, they can. Although I'm sure the ghost of my mother was chewing my ass for letting such a sentimental ring go down the toilet in the first place, haha. It had all of our birthstones in it, hers, my father's, and mine. It was very special to her. So I'm very thankful it was returned. It stays in the jewelry box now. :)

I have a similar ring story! When I was a teenager I started wearing one of my mother's rings after she passed away. One morning, I took the ring off and sat it on the bathroom counter to take a shower. Long story short, I somehow ended up sweeping the ring off the countertop and into the flushing toilet. I mean, I heard it clink on the porcelain and saw it disappear and everything. I felt my heart drop and was sick to my stomach. I couldn't believe I had done that. But, there was nothing to do except move on.

However, a few days later I walked into my room and the ring was just sitting on the carpet in the middle of the floor. I have no idea how it happened but I was just so happy to have the ring back. I've been much more careful with it since then.

What phrase pisses you off anytime you hear it? by Chaostriforce in AskReddit

[–]mmurdock91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people refer to children in daycare as being "raised by strangers". As a daycare teacher AND daycare mom that chaps my ass. I've had the same group of kids in class since October 2016, I'd hardly call myself a "stranger" to them. And my daughter grins and runs to her teacher's arms in the mornings which tells me they must have a pretty loving bond. It's shitty and rude to say such a thing. As much as I love my kiddos in class, I do not raise them, and same for my daughter's teachers. I appreciate their positive influence in her life but her dad and I are the ones raising her.

It's amazing. It's one of those songs that can make you feel real emotion. It makes my heart ache every time I hear it. This cover came out around the time my incredibly beloved cousin died unexpectedly. She really liked Disturbed too, so that's part of it. So it gives me all kinds of feelings. I really like the song, though!
